Our Story

It all began with some passion and a dream. After witnessing the power and beauty of floral arrangements at a friend’s wedding, Katherine Christie, our founder, decided to leave her IT job behind and learn everything she could about floristry. She then set out to create a haven where enthusiasts and amateurs alike could gather to discover and enjoy the bliss only something as simple as reconnecting with nature could bring. The result was Blooming Bliss.

At Blooming Bliss, we believe that flowers are much more than pretty centerpieces or one-time gifts. The right floral arrangement can bring joy and magic into the lives of anyone, express something that can’t be said with words, and bring calm and warmth into any space. Our mission is to spread this magic as far and wide as possible, one bouquet at a time.

Whether it’s a small gesture or a huge arrangement, we want to share the love and happiness and bring it to the community. We don’t want to keep our knowledge for ourselves, either, which is why we try to deliver the most high-quality and comprehensive classes and workshops we can. The way we see it, love only doubles when it’s shared.
